The company provides construction consulting services to lenders throughout the United States and primarily issues technical reports to clients for ongoing construction projects. It has been serving the construction lending industry for over 30 years.
The company is small and flexible with a relaxed environment, but very busy and needing additional people to help handle the workload. The team is now looking for a Remote Office Administrator. You will get to dig into construction plans, contracts, surveys, and technical reports and pull out specific information to ease the administrative and report creation work of their engineers.
The perfect candidate is a person who loves data entry, has a keen attention to detail, some experience working with financial information, and believes anything worth doing is worth doing well.
Report Drafter would be your leading role. This process will include:
- Review and itemize financial documentation provided.
- Report Drafting with a variety of formats - enter specific client and project details into the appropriate format and update report sections with specific information (names, basic conclusions from documents, etc).
- Requesting Additional Documentation - follow up with Consultants about required and missing information; email project contact person for requesting specific items required for the draft report.
- Budget Updating: One of the items required is a Construction Budget. Your role is to enter the information into the appropriate template and make sure the entry is accurate, yet are not responsible for the overall budget analysis work. Excel function creation and troubleshooting knowledge is needed.
The company already has remote report drafters in staff, who work on different reporting projects, so they know this job can be performed remotely.
The main requirements:
- You have fluent English language skills to conduct communication with English speaking teams and clients; read the documentation and pull out required data.
- You pay close attention to detail and prioritize doing over not doing, checking over not checking.
- You are organized and manage your time well.
- You are curious and like complex tasks as well as repetitive work.
- You are good with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Adobe, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- You really enjoy working with big sets of documents and information.
- You are energized by service.
- You are available for training Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
