Swiss-based IT company produces software solutions for enterprise automation in the Microsoft stack. The company is established, and existing clients love the product. However, it needs more marketing to grow the customer base and convert a very technical product into a more user-friendly language.
The team is looking for a proactive middle Marketing Generalist with experience working with brand awareness and implementing marketing strategy plans. This role is for someone with project coordinating skills who likes to work independently. This is a part-time position with the possibility of continuing full-time.
Your goal is to manage and implement the marketing strategy and campaigns on brand awareness using a project-coordinating approach. You will work alongside and be mentored by a veteran marketing director with 20 years of experience in both corporate and startup. So this is also a great chance to develop your marketing skills.
Your work will include:
- Recruiting and managing a creative agency to develop a comprehensive Brand Identity Guideline and using them in briefing further creative resources.
- Ensuring that websites are SEO optimized, implementing online digital marketing campaigns, paid campaigns, and buying space.
- Developing digital advertising campaigns with an agency and regularly testing and measuring for optimal spend ROI. Managing those campaigns on various platforms: LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.
- Ensuring paid advertising campaigns coincide with and optimize non-paid and PR initiatives and social media content.
- Social Media Marketing in relevant B2B channels, Identifying relevant opinion leaders, trade media and competitors, etc, to follow, link to, and comment on.(including Quora/Reddit); Ensuring relevant content and topics are planned and published and external relevant content is shared/commented on. Ensuring own blogs/media are always monitored, and prompt responses are given where necessary.
- Investigating relevant trade events and in-person networking opportunities to attend/gain exposure and setting objectives for any selected, tracking responses/ROI (offline, online)
- Ensuring client measures and feedback is tracked and reported on by client service staff (sales, which products, etc.) and periodically adjusting and optimizing client service package structure where necessary.
- Providing information and sales promotional materials to resellers (brochures, graphics posts ); coming up with ideas and concepts to drive down channel sales.
- Tracking and reporting on market penetration success.
Requirements:
- You have experience as a B2B Marketing Generalist, and you have been working with brand awareness and positioning before
- You have previous experience in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns, including paid display and search engine advertising, social media, and content plans (including a LinkedIn content plan, Reddit, etc))
- Excellent English written and speaking skills for delivering high-quality content. (You are not required to create content necessarily, but you need to coordinate this process, proofing or editing if necessary)
- Hands-on experience implementing inbound/outbound marketing strategies
- You know tools like HubSpot (or other), and Canva, and understand tools like WordPress, Ahrefs (or similar), and various digital marketing and email automation tools.
